1Password

Version: 4.1 || Release Date: 2013-12-11 || License: Shareware (49.99) Developer: AgileBits | App Owner: dteare

Too many passwords to remember? 1Password can create strong, unique passwords for you, remember them, and restore them, all directly in your web browser.

1Password is a password manager that goes beyond simple password storage by integrating directly with your web browser to automatically log you into websites, enter credit card information, fill registration forms, and easily generate strong passwords.

Your passwords, identities, and credit cards, are just some of the confidential information that 1Password stores in one secure place, protected by the only password you will need to remember.

1Password has received numerous awards, including 4.5 mice from Macworld magazine, MacLife Editors pick, and was the Pick of Week on MacBreak Weekly by both Leo Laporte and Merlin Mann.

I admit to not being happy to pay for an upgrade in order to show up on my toolbar with Safari 5 but man was it worth it. Operates just as smoothly and as helpful. The two techs that helped me (I'm in my 60's and don't grasp down loading very well on my MacBook) were incredibly quick to respond and got right to what I needed to know and do. Nice in an age where customer support is rarely a priority...

Top application.
Everything I need, well made and developers are really effective and fast in their support request.
A must have !

I associate it with 1Password Pro on iOs to have all the passwords I need in my pocket for the professional side of my life.

This is the best $40 I've spent in a long time! I've used this product for the past few years, and it really fills a void, allowing me to have secure and unique passwords for each website. Like many others, I have many, many logins for sites I only visit on rare occasion. 1Password is always there regardless of browser, ready to log me in. Plus, if you do have to engage their support, you get a useful, intelligent answer from a human.

I'm like everyone else, I just love this program. It saves so much time and works so effortlessly. And in addition the tech support is unbelievably good. I had a minor glitch which I reported in the late afternoon Pacific Time. Next morning when I looked at my mail there was an answer. Top notch product and service! Probably the best third party Mac program I've ever used.

I tried some freeware and some other trials before settling on 1Password a few months back. I liked the unrestricted trial and would have stuck with the limits after the trial was over but I found it so indispensable that I bought a licence for unrestricted use.

The integration with Safari and Firefox (only browsers I use) has been excellent and the update for Safari 5 was out like a flash. As login methods get more weird and wonderful I've yet to find one that couldn't be handled.

The ability to access information through a pdf document is great for when you are out and about.

My experience with support with querying over the licencing was first rate.

I hate to go back to not using 1Password.

Having switched from Windows to Mac about a year ago, I finally found the time to figure out a few aspects of 1Password that had bothered me. Their Customer Support answered promptly and solved all my questions about customizing the one click options, and combined with the DropBox syncing and iPhone app, I could not be more pleased with the product, the company, or the people. An absolutely first rate software package and also a great bunch of folks!

I now no longer need to think about ever going back to Windows and Roboform, a good program in its own right, but fully surpassed by 1Password. It is a little pricey, but a good value nonetheless.

If you are tired of chasing passwords you have forgotten, looking for credit card numbers, or all the other bits of data that are so often needed, "1Password" is the answer. The developers at Agile are constantly upgrading the program to keep up with the constant changes in browser architecture, adding support for newly released browsers, as well as adding new features, such as remembering software registration numbers. Your data is fully password protected too. "1Password" is by far the premier program of its type currently available, and due to its constant development, I expect it will remain so. This is a top notch program, bar none.

1Password has been a lifesaver. My passwords are safer and much easier to access, as I have 1Password on the Mac and iPhone and they sync. What a wonderful idea! Customer support is awesome, too!

Hi!
I really love "1Password"! It remembers all my passwords and secures them safely, I don't have to worry about anything, I just type in the Master password and I have all my passwords on a beautiful designed list. Everything in this app plays together, functionality and design...its just beautiful.

Thanks to the whole team of Agile Web Solutions not only for building this program but also for the nicest support in the world :)

greetings

Sassan

I have been using 1Password (many updates of it) for over 1 year. I have had virtually no issues with it and most recently had some great assistance from their customer service in assisting with a login problem (which was easily solved). I put 1Password up there as a "must" have program along with Default Folder & CopyPaste Pro on things I would have to get installed on any new Mac I setup. If you don't like to remember a growing number of passcodes for your bank, credit card companies, etc., 1Password is great solution - highly recommended!
