Flash and now AIR are the only applications that have consistently been able to bring every Mac I've ever owned (including my new MacBook pro) to it's knees. Do yourself a favour and promote an open web by uninstalling both today:

ByeBye CPU cycle eating, security and privacy invading user interface desaster. (As usually with Adobe software these days.)

Too bad this thing eats memory. Nice concept, though. Probably has a very lucrative future.

Very welcome complement to the redundant Java cross-platform desktop apps.

Required for ebay desktop. Installed Beta 2 ten minutes ago and it works nicely.
