arRsync is a Mac OS X frontend the utility 'rsync'. It is intended to provide a simple interface to a powerful backup and synchronisation tool. It is early days but it can already performed basic backups. Currently it is quite limited and we still suggest some knowledge of rsync.

Really great program because it is so easy to use. Saved my life on two occasions. If you need fancy sycing, go for carbon copy cloner, but if you just want to have a copy of, say, your Documents folder on an external drive, this is the simplest and fastest solution.

Looks nice, but only works for destination folders that can be browsed to. App is therefore not useful for efficiently synchronising local data to a remote server over ssh or the native rsync protocol.

It would be great to have a really good Rsync frontend for OS X. This has less options than RsyncX, but a nicer GUI and is a little easier to use.
