This plugin extends Apple‘s Dictionary application (Dictionary.app) with a German-English dictionary.

The dictionary content is based on the online dictionary www.beolingus.de by TU Chemnitz.

Installation

The installation is very easy. Just download the install package and execute it. If you start Dictionary.app afterwards you should see Deutsch-Englisch like in the screenshot. The install package always installs the dictionary into /Library/Dictionaries.

BeoLingus German-English is only available for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard).

Not as complete as dict.leo.org, but you can't beat the convenience of using Spotlight to look up words; love this!
