3 Opinions:
The games are all style and no substance. The style eventually gets in the way, and I went looking for superior, free implementations of the games. Further, the games won't run on a case-sensitive file system.
Wish I knew how to find online opponents.
Very impressive design, unfortunately they are somewhat lacking as games, at least for the chess game. They seem to have payed more attention to implementing the design than implementing a competent AI or the full rules of chess (neglecting things like en passant). Okay for kids or the extremely casual gamer. I no use this anymore.
