Blind
Version: 1.1 ||
Release Date: 2007-01-06 ||
License: Freeware
Blind unhides hidden files. The appliance couldn't be easier: Just start the app. Automatically the hidden files will be unhidden and vice versa. Because of this simpleness you can put the program e.g. in the toolbar of the Finder.
EDIT (31/12/2007): The site is down for a long time now - Iko (http://osx.iusethis.com/user/iko) provided us an alternative:

Thanks for sharing this one!
Thanks Iko for uploading the app!
Hope this is allowed -- have posted a copy temporarily for anyone who'd like to try it until the site is accessible again. It should be clean, but of course, please take the usual precautions when downloading anything online.

Very handy app.
Anyone have the install file? I can't seem to connect to the homepage anymore.
'cream of the crop' as a mid 90s app directory would have put it. and agreed about the icon. thanks!
Great program! The only way I can see it getting better is to have an icon that looks more like the default Finder buttons (same height, for example).
I can't agree with you more. Awesome app that does what it does simply and seamlessly.
Wow, awesome app! To put it simply, this program is perfect. PERFECT, I say. Drag it to the toolbar as the screenshot shows, and you've got a way to switch invisible files' invisibility on/off as easy as a single click (and a quick Finder relaunch, but this is unavoidable, and happens immediately).
Very useful, and VERY highly recommended!
