Freezes applications to increase available processor power

Blitz is for people who have software with big needs. When your Mac is clogged with lots of extra processes, the amount of power it can give to any one program is lessened. Running an intensive process like Photoshop filter or a 3D render can be sped up with Blitz.

Blitz freezes applications, leaving them taking absolutely no CPU, and leaving more processing power for your other applications. Blitz also implements a "Focus Freeze", letting you focus all CPU power on a single application.

though I haven't used it for this purpose, Blitz might be good for temporarily halting running processes simply for the sake of stopping them from running.

For example, it might work well for that game you're playing that doesn't have a built-in pause feature.

(i'm just speculating here... I haven't used it for that yet).

From my limited use of Blitz it seems to have quite a few undocumented features (bugs). But I might be the only one having problems with the program.
