BOUML is a UML 2.0 diagram authoring and code generation tool, allowing you to specify and generate code in C++, Java, Idl, Php and Python.

BOUML is extensible, and the tools named «plug-outs» can be coded in C++ or Java.

Some examples of plug-outs contained in BOUML:

1. HTML generator (diagrams in PNG or SVG)
2. Qt3: Generator for .pro files used by qmake
3. XMI generator

BOUML runs on Mac OS X (PPC/Intel), Unix/Linux/Solaris, and Windows.
