The Brother Status Monitor Widget can show the following information on the display.

The status of the device you selected when you installed the scanner driver.

The amount of ink remaining.

Note
When the window is active, the status will be automatically retrieved from the device every 60 seconds.
Status information can be shown only when you selected the following models below with a network connection:
DCP-310CN, DCP-315CN, DCP-340CW, MFC-3340CN, MFC-410CN, MFC-420CN, MFC-425CN, MFC-5440CN, MFC-5840CN, MFC-620CN, MFC-640CW, MFC-820CW
