I don't use p2p hardly at all anymore, but when I do, I use Frostwire. I'm sure it's not the best either, but it works fine for what little I use it.

l2g, it could be your cable's fault, mine runs flawlessly. You can also get rid of all that metal by clicking "Cabos" -> "Preferences..." -> "Appearance" -> untick "Use textured window (Requires restart)" and there you go!

It seems this is PPC, not UB... what gives?

I have yet to find a Gnutella app for OS X that I really like. I use Cabos because it's the one I dislike the least. It has an uncluttered feature set, it does its job reasonably well, and it seems more reliable than other Gnutella apps I've tried. (I would rank the reliability about a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. But that may be my cable company's fault more than Cabos's.)

Though it's way too metal (a aqua version would rock) this is the best free p2p app easily.
