Awesome app
I just want to point out that sigalakos's comment is no longer applicable. Chax 2.x supports a unified contact list.
Wow, finally ichat does everything I was missing from adium. Sweeeet
It's great! Now iChat uses less space. However I stil couldn't resolve my main gripe with iChat. That is, one window for all my contacts. be there AIM, Jabber ot Bonjour users. Now I have three little windows, one for each protocol, that's absurd. I guess I was used to Adium, but the inclusion of iSight cameras to almost all the notebook and desktop line of Apple, made iChat again a number one choice...
I don't comment on most apps iUse on here, but this one is definitely comment worthy. Made AIM much more versatile and useful.
I really didn't want to use Adium, and this solved everything. Plus, it has growl support.
This solved a lot of the problems I had with iChat. I encourage you to try it and to donate some money to Kent. He is extremely responsive to requests and comments.
another great piece of freeware. i only wish the tabs were a little more sleek and OS X-like.
Truly one heck of a utility. An absolute MUST HAVE. And be sure to explore the preferences, it adds some great features to iChat.
