Clementine

Version: 1.2.2 || Release Date: 2014-02-06 || License: GPL App Owner: tsepelev

Clementine is a port of Amarok 1.4, with some features rewritten to take advantage of Qt4.

Clementine is a lite music player that gives you the possibility to manage your music library and listen to different radio stations.

Throughout its useful tab system we'll be able to access any music file in a snap, as well as listen to the radio or access the folder where we have music stored.

The most interesting tab is the one of the music library and it allows you to create playlists and listen to the tracks we want.

Radio tab gives you access to radio stations: Last.fm and SomaFM.

Clementine is housed in an intuitive interface and it's easy to use thanks to it.

Finally, it consumes very few resources, so it's perfect to listen to music while we work using the computer, becasue it won't slow down any other processes.

Is the perfect replacement for my foobar2000 from my old notebook with Windows

Very much enjoy the Spotify integration via the API! You can have a seamless playlist of your own library mixed with tracks from Spotify, and the FLAC and cover support are also very good. Hope this sees consistent updates!

Looks brilliant so far.... a few glitches, but definately a worthy replacement for the somewhat outdated Cog.

Love the multiple tabbed playlists, the support for visualizations (works good on my 2nd monitor), support for lots of formats, quite good media library etc etc. It is fast as well, which I didn't expect from a multiplatform softwarepiece.

When placed in the dock, the lovely clementine will show the track progress by percentual coloring, really nice touch. :-)

This is what I had hoped Cog would someday become, so I'm really happy to have found this :-) Thanks to the developers!

keep your eye on this one, folks.
