4 Opinions:
It would be a good option for viewing may old Art Explosion clip art collection (included viewer is OS 8-9 compatible), however certain clip art folders cause it to quit unexpectedly. That's too bad because it really is a nice program.
Nice, but has some annoyances that make me prefer JustLooking, ie:
- full screen displays some buttons and text, I'd prefer to have this customizable
- thumbnails are displayed on one column only, I'd prefer to have them on 2 or 3 columns
- if launched directly in full screen mode, you still see the normal window for a short amount of time, this is a bit annoying.
I've been using this (0.9.5) for months but just stopped because of usability issues. Basic functionality is not intuitive for me, and there is no option for printing. Perhaps someday IrfanView will get ported to OSX? That'll be a good day. :)
Really nice app, handles images and PDFs very well.
The best replacement for ACDSee in the Mac I've found so far.
