Great iTunes controller. Search gets a little wonky at times and can hangup the app. If you want basic Last.fm integration this is fine, but for more functions use something like iScrobbler. Developer has been responsive with emails.

@neuemodern : CoverSutra does support Growl. If you hold down the ALT key whilst viewing CoverSutra's menu, you'll see "Preferences..." change to "Advanced Preferences..."

If you go into the advanced preferences you can select to use Growl for song notifications.

A couple of hours was all it took to be convinced this was a must-have app: I love the controls, the notification system, the search features, etc. I would love if PathFinder would keep the album art on my desktop, though.

Great application. Support is directly from the developer, and my question was answered within less than ten minutes.

Requires Leopard: Mac OS X 10.5.2 or higher, and iTunes 7.6.2 or higher.
Could this information be added to the description?

I really like this, despite it missing a few features I'd really like - a key to bring up the rating bezel without changing the rating, and an associated setting to specify the time any bezels stay on screen.

It also consumes a massive amount of memory - on my system as much as iTunes itself!

2.1.2 is a major downgrade....growl integration has stopped working & search has stopped working (just spins and spins), in addition to the problems cayayofm mentions.....fortunately reverting to 2.0.1 restores the lost functionality (and doesn't lose anything, as far as I can see).

Yes I have to admit that 2.1 has far too many issues. However, I'm working on a bug-fix release which should solve them all and resolves CoverSutra's known quality.

This latest version (2.1.x) doesn't seem to respond like previous versions. When changing songs, the song info doesn't change, it stays with the first played song, although I can control the song (next, pause, play, scroll) normally.

Besides this small bug, CoverSutra works great. Love this.
