  • Creates beautiful thumbnails of images, movies, PDF document covers, AAC/MP3 album art.
  • Look inside ZIP-files
  • Import Spotlight comments
  • Import CDFinder, WhereIsIt, FileFinder and DiskTracker catalogs
  • Gather meta-data like AAC/MP3 tags, EXIF/IPTC image info, PDF info, Word/RTF document info.
  • Use smart-catalog folders to store search results just like iTunes.
  • Search in all catalogs for files based on keyword, date, category, size, etc.

DiskCatalogMaker....$10 less

A great app with a responsive and nice developer - depending on how other people like to organize their disks and files, other apps like DiskTracker might work better but for me, DiskLibrary best suits me. While this is a great app I'd still recommend that people should try out some of the other disk inventory management apps to see which one works best for them.

V. 1.7 can import from WhereIsIt for Windows, this is nice.

This catalogs the contents of your Media, like DVDs/CDs burned with data files like music, movies, projects, word files, etc, making all your media searchable offline.

Delicious Library a catalog for DVD Movies, Music CDs, and Books.

whole different kind of ballpark :p

What does this have that Delicious Library doesn't?
