Dock Dodger enables you to hide icons of running apps from the Dock. Not as full-featured as Dockless, but Universal binary as opposed to the aforementioned.

Quicksilver has its own setting for in or not in dock and dockless is now universal too...
doesn't work on Quicksilver, for me, for some reason. Otherwise seems cool. (10.5.6 - most recent vs of QS and DD)
I lurv me some dock dodger! You know how you have some apps that you want running all the time, but you don't want their icons in the dock? Well, just drag the app to dock dodger and it takes care of the rest.

Thanks a bundle, FoggyNoggin Software! Keep it up.
good, but no effect with Google Desktop... (but still in beta, maybe later...)
