Drive-in is an innovative application that allows you to store your personal DVD movie library on your Mac. It is now available as a public beta.

Using Drive-in you can create an image of a DVD disc on your laptop or home entertainment system. The image preserves the quality, navigation and special features of the original DVD and can be played using Apple’s DVD Player or Front Row.

this is the first step in irradicating individual hard-copies of media. The next step is to stop producing them and having all media directly delivered to and stored on the player/computer.

This will keep you from having to re-buy them all in digital format while retaining the DVD quality and special features. Unless of course you want the new HD.

This is truly a beautiful program

can this dvd disc then be burned to a dvd?
