Instead of posting a referral link (250 extra Megs for anyone who follows — and themselves…), I tell you what I liked about Dropbox as yet:

  • runs and syncs just fine on Mac OS X (tried Tiger and Leo)
  • runs on Windows, Linux
  • Web access including sharing links
  • Photo sub/folders have fine gallery view:
    • Web 2.0-like interface
    • download link on the view page

Excellent!

An easy to use and lite alternative to iDisk.

I just got myself an account of dropbox. So far the 2 GB free option works for me. I am considering to sync my photos as well. My thing is, that 50 GB is far to much right now. Hoping to see a pay as you go option. Maybe 1 USD for every commenced 5 GB, since they are using Amazon S3 anyway.

Simple, clean, fast and secure... I love it!

Best productivity app

I love Dropbox - does exactly what it promises. Easiest way to share files between computers.
