It is much more comfortable to snap pictures with DVD Snap:
If you are using SnapNDrag, you have to:

- click SnapNDrag Window
- choose picture name and format
- choose destination
- choose a timer (e.g. 5 seconds)
- bring the DVD Player to full screen mode

and if you have bad luck, SnapNDrag captures DVD Player's controller, too.
Great, huh ? DVD Snap hides all that and automatically goes into the full screen mode. If you want to snap pictures every second, DVD Snap is the most comfortable capture utility. Try it and tell me what you think.

Any screen-capturing program that isn't Grab can do this too, though a repeating timer isn't in most. I've been using SnapNDrag to nab screenshots of DVDs in the DVD player for a while now.

Yes, that's right, but most of the Mac-User are using the Apple DVD Player because the VLC Player has still some bugs.
Also, DVD Snap includes Timer Snap (snapping a picture every 1-60 seconds...), you can choose a custom picture name, a picture format and a destination of your choice.
In Version 1.1.0 DVD Snap's transparent interface is working simultaneously in full screen mode with Apple DVD Player.

Looks like a good workaround if you need a lot of 'em, but VLC includes basic snapshots by menu and key shortcut.
