ecto is a cross-platform blogging client, supporting a wide range of weblog systems, such as Blogger, Blojsom, Drupal, MovableType, Nucleus, TypePad, WordPress, and more.
Don't like it. I have it registered, but I don't use it anymore. I have switched to TextMate with its lovely blogging bundle. Ecto's html editor is a crap. No chance to embed things like JS or stuff. Don't register, guys!
I use ecto to manage half a dozen different sites (all Wordpress driven), and it works beautifully. The only problems I've ever had were related to timing out when sending a post with several images as thumbnails, but creating a new entry quickly solved that issue.
Highly recommended!
I saw a reccomendation on this app and thought I would give it a try. In the middle of working on a new blog post, the damn thing crashed on me. Lost the entire entry. Major suckage. I'm going back to other tools.
Well, I don't like Textile either, it produces some pretty weird coding too. If anyone has anything better to suggest I would definitely be interested.
Too complicated. It can't handle code. Ends up cluttering oen database with slow, difficult to handle code, especially for pictures.... also the picture uploading feature doesn't work. I've basically just about stoppped using it....
All the text you write on iusethis is formatted with Textile. For instance
you can type *bold* to produce bold. Check out this textile
reference for more info.

It's a great app, and the Universal one is muuuuuch faster.
Yes, it makes nasty HTML code, but I use Textile so meh.
