The Email Converter was basically written to transfer your
Windows mailboxes to your new Apple computer.
This version of the tool can export Outlook 2003-2010 (and pre 2003), Outlook Express 5 or 6 and Eml files, and allows you to import them to Mbox format.
This Lite Version will convert only 72 Mails from the sources !
The Outlook Exporter stores the Folder-structures from Outlook to !
The Apple Mail application is able to import the Mbox format,
what makes it possible, to have all your old mails on your new Macintosh.
The application is using Dynamic Link Libraries for export and import.
The Pro version is coming with PST, DBX and EML Exporter and Mbox importer. It means you can export Outlook 2003-2010 and Outlook Express 5 or 6 and import them to Mbox format
The using of the application is straightforward:
You have to select the exporter and the source file on the left side and the importer and the target file on the right side, this enables the Start button.
Outlook stores the pst file in the following location:
C:\Documents and Settings\user_id\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Outlook Express usually saves the DBX files in the following folder:
c:\Dokuments and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\
The final thing to do is to push the Start button and check the action log!
The preferences dialog allows to select a directory for additional libraries, and to enable or disable the status screen animation.
