Sad to say but since Realmac released the Beta Version it's not working at all. Tried to make it work since the release but keeps on crashing and loosing my Settings, it's ok since it's a beta but for now I had to switch to NetNewsWire for Feeds and take another look when it's out of beta (can't download Eventbox anymore :( ).

I got my EventBox as a giveaway from MacHeist and have used it to replace Twitterific. I think it's best in HUD mode, the standard window interface looks a little bland in comparison.

I read that EventBox has been purchased by Realmac Software. I'm looking forward to seeing what they do with it! Their other apps are very slick (LittleSnapper for example).

Since I have friends on various ones from Plurk to Twitter, I have to use either Ping.fm or hellotxt. Until an app comes out that directly supports either(preferably Ping.fm), I will just use Adium.

I would certainly expect this type of app to show your facebook messages; others' posts to your wall, pokes, and facebook notifications would also be quite welcome. But the idea is great. It just doesn't (yet) cover the more crucial facebook stuff, imo.

Very nice app! So far, it's my favorite Google Reader desktop client for OS X because of the GUI design and integration with things like Growl. It still seems to need some options for changing font sizes in the posts and sidebar lists like other RSS reader-type apps, though...the defaults are a bit too small for my comfort.

Just bought EventBox after a very successful trial. It's well designed and has a receptive development team. There are still a few quirks to work out but it's definitely worth purchasing, even as a beta.

Its certainly gotten better and google reader sync is a killer feature.

I'm hoping for better facebook support in regards to threads.
