Opinions:
it is very thoughtful of the fine folks at fetch softworks to extend a free license for fetch to university students and professors, as well as employees of tax exempt charity organizations. as a college student myself, i have found many professors from the "computer science" department prefer and in some cases require you to upload your completed assignments to a designated ftp server, meaning i find myself using an ftp application [in my case it is cyberduck at the moment] at home, much more than i normally would. but now, seeing as fetch softworks offers this free education & charity license, i figure i will give this app a 'go around' as they say. who knows, i might just switch from cyberduck.
Best FTP client for the Mac, hands down. Very professional, clean user interface, impeccable documentation.
Like so many of us, I've tried all the ftp options available for the mac. Somehow, the simplicity and elegance of this little program keeps me coming back.
