yeah, right, that's why just one person is using it as of now.

It seems I'm in the minority but I actually like Final Draft. Sure, it looks clunky but it does what it's supposed to do and does it very well. I've tried several replacements and none match up yet.

oh, and version 7.1.3 is the latest version.

Absolutely horrible. A total rip-off and I am glad to see competitors are ramping up their efforts to dethrone this soulless piece of ... well, you get the idea. Give CeltX a try. It's free and available on Mac or PC.

it's a bit of a love/hate relationship. but final draft really works well. there are things i wish it would do better, or more of... but when it comes to getting out of the way and just letting you write your script with a reliable word processing engine, you can't beat it -- yet. but there's fresh new competition that might be able to compete one day when they mature.
