I want tabs
Finder? I don't like seeing this listed in the Apps list. I may be an app, but it just seems out of place alongside VLC, Skype, and others.
Yes... Kamikazow is absolutely right.
Mac OS X (the operating system) and the Finder are not the same thing.
The latest version of Mac OS X Tiger is indeed 10.4.10, but the current version of the Finder is still 10.4.7.
Just do "About Finder" from the Finder menu and you'll get that information.
The Finder is still at version 10.4.7 (even under OS X 10.4.10)
"I use this", hahah who doesn't? :D
Path Finder is a decent alternative for those who detest the Finder.
I dont understand why so many people HATE finder. It seems to me that finder does what it is supposed to do (be a place for you to categorize and view your files) decently well. No, it does not have tabs and it could be better, but hate seems like a strong word for a pretty ok application. Maybe it's just because every other app bundled is the best of the best and finder is not. I think quicksilver comes close to making it the best of the best though.
Is the Finder at 10.4.9? Mine's still says it's 10.4.7.
