There is currently an intel-only SMP client in beta.
Given the nature of the folding application and computational cores, it does not make sense to make the old stuff universal: there's too much reliance on CPU specifics.
Consider downloading the command-line version and configuring it through the GUI app <a href="http://osx.iusethis.com/app/increase">"InCrease"</a>.
When is this thing going to turn universal?
