To me, as silly as it may sound, an application's icon is everything. That's why I'd like to say, I think the original icon was really much more beautiful. This one looks too dark and somewhat weird.

I've been using ForkLift since it was first in beta. Has been the only file manager that I've actually paid for. That said, the UI was always a bit of a mess (although functional). The new beta, however, is amazing. The UI is as beautiful as it is functional, Leopard frameworks are being harnessed (QuickLook in ForkLift was just what I needed) and it's just showing more and more promise as time goes on. ForkLift is definitely a worthy file manager.

With 1.5b1, this just replaced Transmit for me. The changes they've made to the GUI are the most tangible (or perhaps visible) example of all the changes they've made since this app was first released. There are still a few odd bugs in 1.5b1, so it might be worth waiting for the final release, but 1.5 is a definite improvement. Now a terrific app!

I think Transmits GUI is much smoother and efficient.

I would use this instead of Transmit if a Textmate bundle existed for it. Having one key command in Textmate to upload a file via Transmit is invaluable to me.

Its a fantastic application.
But would the devs please, PLLLEAAAASE THINK ABOUT USING AN OTHER PAYMENT METHOD so you don't have to register a CRAPPY PAYPAL account for getting a license of this wonderful app?!
Thanks...

If you could synchronize panes between a remote and local connection (like in Trasmit), then this would probably cause me to buy this software and ditch Transmit and Path Finder.

Installed trial, moved just a few files around my HDD and to FTP and instantly knew I had to have it.

Just taken them up on the 47% off deal with only 6 hours remaining. I must say it feels like I just found £10 on the floor and bought a gold watch with it. Can't wait for this to get better and better - as long as it doesn't get 'top heavy' like pathfinder as I quite agree with astorgs comment

some suggestions
1.overwrite promotion: need file info compare
2.Folder content not auto-refreshing
3.space bar to mark selections, to easily select multiple files
4.trial expired...
