Besides the horrible names they give their applications, the developers are unresponsive and/or unhelpful, and they have the worst registration system ever. I'd seriously recommend just staying away.

Excellent and super-easy alternative to Handbrake for encoding Xvid or H.264 videos. It can rip on the fly from DVDs (even protected). If you, like me have problems encoding some movies via Handbrake (clipping sound etc), Forty-TwoDVD-VXPlus (what a name!), can do the job. My only gripe, is the lack of output file size in megabytes (there is a one cd, two cd, one dvd option), so if you encode a 20 minute video its size could be as much as 400MB! I contacted the developer about that and hopefully it will be fixed in updated versions.
