Version 1.7b5 is a universal binary.
Unfortunately, there's no option to keep the ruler on top of other windows.
(I can't use afloat, because it doesn't work for Tiger anymore. Not sure it would support the kind of window used by Free Ruler, though.)
Cool utility and the developer rocks too!
