Its not quite up there with QIM, but it's significantly more free, so I can't really complain! Wish they would keep developing it though - seems development has stopped since 2008

This is a huge improvement over the builtin OS X input methods. Not only does it suggest reasonable characters out of the box, but it learns as you use it (so, for example, now I can type my Chinese name in pinyin and it comes up as the first choice.)
