Why don't you try the newest version of Vienna (2.2.0.2201)?
It has a fantastic new interface (without the brushed metal look), it's fast and includes all the features you need. And it's also free!

This is maybe the simplest, cleanest reader you'll find, but still i miss a search field and the feature to flag feeds.

does the english localization not work for you?

Sorry to be annoying, but is this in English as well as German?

I'd love to use this one, but there's no opml-import/export facility - I don't want to add 120 feeds by hand.
