mountainash - the FAQ indicates that it will often hang with USB hubs -- I had a hang then collected the gps directly to my mac rather than through the hub and it worked fine.
Couldn't connect to my eTrex Camo though a 4 Port Keyspan serial adaptor.
Worked great for updating my Nuvi 350. Props to Garmin for a Mac app, not to mention fantastic hardware! They'll continue to get my business.
