Make animated GIFs from any video clip!

GIFBrewery allows you to convert clips from your movies into small GIFs.

GIFBrewery allows you to set the start and end of the clips, how many frames to use, and the speed of the clip. GIFBrewery can also apply different effects such as blur, sepia tone, and color correction to the clip.

GIFBrewery can also save your settings for later use.

GIFBrewery will not alter the original file and settings just impact the GIF.

NOTE GIFBrewery can only open and create clips from movies that Quicktime can open and play. If the clip only plays audio in GIFBrewery, please check to make sure it can be viewed by Quicktime. If it plays fine in Quicktime, please contact me, so I can better understand the issue.

You can find a complete list of the natively supported codecs & file formats for QuickTime at If you are having an issue with any of those codecs and GIFBrewery, please contact me.

NOTE If you are using Lion and have a Quicktime component called 3ivx installed, GIFBrewery will crash when trying to opening file. This issue is a problem with 3ivx and Lion. ( You will need to remove 3ivx in order for GIFBrewery to function properly.
