Gizmo Project uses your internet connection (broadband or dial-up) to make calls to other computers. With the click of a mouse, you’re connected to friends, family, and colleagues anywhere on earth. It’s just that simple. You talk clearly. For as long as you want. For free.

i love this new gadget with msn and aim (+icq) buddies contact support ... is sooooooo awsom!!! now i have only two chat programs open (skype and gizmo) and i am connected to all of my buddies...
good luck getting the "free" calls. you have to be an "active" user to get them, which means purchasing talk time. so how they equate making a purchase to being free is beyond me. just check out their support forums and FAQs.
Did you know that with Gizmo you can get a free area 775 number? You can also get a real phone number anywhere in the world for about $5/month. I outlined how to that here:

Way cooler than Skype.
