Growl is a simple tool that allows applications to send out notifications to your screen. Notifications appear as small windows with a bit of text and an icon. Gmail+Growl works inside of Gmail Notifier to send Growl notifications whenever new mail is received.

Clicking link doesn't work with Google Apps version of Gmail. Also, it would be nice if I could choose another application besides Camino and Safari to open the email. I use Gmail Standalone which serves as its own executable browser.

I love this..the Growl notifications work just the way you would expect and look much nice than the Google ones (which you need to remember to turn off)

As an established Growl user, this is much nicer than the default Google Notifier popups because they behave like I expect.

This is a killer add-on for GMail Notifier--exactly what I wanted!

Could never configure it properly...

I've heard great things about it - as well as Growl's universal applications.
