Download Google Books to PDF.

Google Book Downloader is a tool for downloading digital books from books.google.com. Give it the URL or ID of a Google Book and it will create a PDF of that book. Some books can already be downloaded from the web, but many cannot. If you see a book that has a full or limited preview but no download, Google Book Downloader can download that—or at least the parts you can read on the web.

I've mostly downloaded 19th century books, but they look just like regular dowloads from GBooks.

@predsednik I agree that the pages are blurry. I have a good idea as to what is causing the loss in quality and I hope to find a way to fix it in an upcoming version.

I don't know what's the problem, but the results are somehow blurry... I tried both options, 1000 pixels width and original width, but it's blurrier than on the web in both modes.
