It utilizes very fast loading of web pages and has a V8 engine, which is a custom built JavaScript engine. Because Google has used parts from Apple's Safari and Firefox browsers, they are making the entire project open source.

it is Google Chrome actually, not Chromium. Although the caveat is that it's for developers.

Wait... Is this different than Chromium? It can't be the public build. The site and the blog say nothing about it.
