goPod changes firmware settings, (what you want) to alter your iPod to US loudness levels
The others (like EUpod, iPodVolumeBooster etc etc) just change individual track volumes up a bit (not the best solution....all they're doing is altering the mp3 track info for each track .....they're NOT changing the actual iPod firmware to remove limitations.
This is why this is the best (only?) app to do this.
