Version: 1.2 || Release Date: 2009-09-28 || License: Freeware

It displays the currently playing track in iTunes, and allows you to rate that track from the menubar.

well, if you use a number of programs, like iScrobbler, Synergy, a number of other programs have growl built in. IMO, if youre looking for JUST growl for your itunes, this is good, but lacks functionality i use.

Great growl notifications though. i actually prefer these. and it updates quickly.

I'm using Panther, so this is the next best thing for me until I get Leopard, when I'll actually be able to use a version of Quicksilver that doesn't suck. Butler has iTunes notifications built-in, but Butler doesn't use Growl.

kind of annoying, really. the growl notifications are nice but you can get the same thing out of quicksilver.. and you can popup the notification any time you want and use hotkeys to control itunes. the fact that growltunes grabs album art is nice.. but it doesn't save it, so it's sort of useless.
