I've been using Hamachi for over a year, both command-line on OS X and Linux and the GUI on Windows. The network has only been down once in my experience, and the client has never failed me. I don't even have to log out and log back in when putting my Mac to sleep or switching networks (eg. from Ethernet to wireless). Hamachi is simply the easiest way to get a virtual network going, whether its for LAN games over the net or for file sharing (I've successfully mounted Windows shared folders on OS X and vice versa).
FWIW I use the command-line client together with the tun driver here on a MacBook.
Hamachi is a great tool......once the final port to Mac is finally ready. Until then, HamachiX is available

If you want to check out an app later, or want to recommend it to your

5 Opinions:
too bad the hamachi binary is still a powerpc file, forcing Rosetta to run. this is the only powerpc app still left in my system...
could some friendly soul please compile hamachi for intel?

Amazing idea. Too bad the network is often down, and the client unstable.
...or, you can just use the command line.
