Crashes Bejeweled (Popcap game) and there is no support. Mailed three times, no response.

I agree with Hindemith, it crashes Skype and iChat. Also found out it was crashing my newly purchased PrintMusic 2009. When I deleted Hear, my Skype and iChat started working again and PrintMusic is working also. Took a long while to find the culprit. I'm using an iMac G5, running OSX 10.5.6, PowerPC 1.8, 1 gig of memory.

Really great app which I'd never want to miss any more. I bought it - but: It still has some problems e.g. with Skype and RealPlayer. So wait with buying until they're fixed.

If anyone would like more details about how Hear works, I've written a small review on it. Check it out here: http://macnifying.com/?p=115

It has tons of features, unfortunately it can be a bit overwhelming for the vast majority. The presets don't really sound that great, so one has to spend some time tweaking the different settings. And they can be very advanced for most.

But to be fair, it also depends on the speakers one uses and the room they're in.

And even once you've managed to tweak it to your best ability, there is one huge problem.

ITS A HUGE CPU HOG!!!

Once tweaked the sound is very good, but it noticeably slows down your system, which really sucks since its a good app.

I tried IWow after demoing this app.

While it had less features.

It was far easier to use and tweak, and more importantly, didn't make a single dent on my cpu, with excellent quality.
