Hide-Out!
Hide-Out! is a very simple Freeware application which allows you to take advantage of Mac OS X's ability to hide a folder by putting a full point in front of its name.
Hide-Out! will allow you to do this easily without having to use the terminal application and it now sets the invisible bit on the folder too, keeping it hidden in Mac OS 9.
So if you have some stuff that you'd like to keep away from prying eyes, you can now keep it in your Hide-Out! - Hide-Out! - 2.1 also has the 100% CLEAN award granted by Softpedia

I love this application, but it persistently crashes on launch. Great idea but needs some fine tweaking.
An encrypted disk image made with Disk Utility would be actual security, while this is merely security through obscurity.
