Works fine on my MacBook Pro (Core2Duo) running OS 10.8.2

Is also currently still being developed as it is now at v3

This product seems better than the competition. It is a shame that it seems to be dead. From their website:

"The following apps are no longer supported by Rayner Software, but they are still available for download. Feel free to try them out."

Doesn't seem to recognize MacBook Pro batteries.
