Yes, the developer emailed me pretty quickly after my initial comment. It should be fixed in a couple of days! :)

The current version, 1.2.3, is not setup to allow users to have their home directory anywhere other than /Users/_username_. It should pull this information from the environment instead of assuming everyone is configured in a similar fashion. As such it is unusable for me in its current state. :(
