I used this for about 10 mos., made a lot of "friends" with compatible tastes who have similar interests, but I've uninstalled it (v. easy to do) as it was just eating up too much CPU & making iTunes unresponsive off and on (with 125 GB music library). iTunes is running noticeably better since. I'll keep the account & am keeping it installed on my work machine, but for older macs with big libraries it does lead to a performance hit.
The playlist feature of this software isn't brilliant - I'd suggest checking out The Filter.
I like the part of the Friends section begin able to see what Friends are listening too.. good add on to iTunes I believe... Don't want to delete my account for now but they should fix the part that if you delete it data still remains in their database...

Apparently the memory leak's been fixed with 0.0.0.92.
I'd disagree that this is better than iScrobbler - sure it looks good, but it uses a lot of memory.
My favorite iTunes plug-in is The Filter
The sidebar is much nicer than last.fm's iScrobbler. Great plug-in and service.
Hmm, I agree. I do get quite annoyed that it picks up my podcasts and stuff, and you mention things that I hadn't thought of, like the fact that they keep your data even after you delete your account. I guess I'm just willing to tolerate that sort of stuff. That is, unless you use it too.
- there's no way to suspend submissions to iLike (do you ever listen to a podcast???)
- once you've deleted your account, they keep your data
moreover, there's no archive for the messages you send in reply to the many that come from all kinds of freaks...
I think it's enough :)
