QIM is a Pinyin input method running on Mac OS X. It provides unprecedented speed and flexibility along with a rich set of features for an improved user experience in Mac OS X.

There are two different branches of QIM 1.6.0 now.

• QIM, based on the old input method framework, it can running on both Mac OS X 10.4 and 10.5.
• IMKQIM, based on the new input method framework relased with Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
