Instantbird is a multi-protocol Instant Messaging client. Using it, you can connect to all your different IM accounts. It uses the Mozilla rendering engine to display IMs, and the Pidgin libpurple to connect to the different networks.

Looks as if they fixed the non-mounting problem... APP installs, but does not support Gmail. (I did not see JABBER server as an option in the setup... if I am wrong please let me know).
download file for OSX does not work. When it attempts to mount the dmg file it says there are no mountable file systems. Shame, I was looking forward to trying it.
