Why is the company name in the apps title?

The last blog entry from the company was 19 June 2008 stating a 1.0.1 update soon
Its 01 April 2009 - 10 months later. The version is still at 1.0.
I played with the beta and was in the air vs. Pixelmator. In the end, I went with Pixelmator due to the active company. I cant seem to give $80 to an inactive company.

I don't have Leopard, so I can't evaluate this app. But I'm curious why there ain't more people using this.

I think the interface looks very appealing in that it looks well layed out and everything seems to be housed in one window.

What's the impression of those Leopard users who've tried this? How does it compare to DrawIt, Acorn, Pixelmator, et. al.?
