The fact that it's the only app I've found so far that allows scrobbling of tracks played on your iPod makes this a must have (unlike the new player and Menuet etc etc)

I prefer this plugin to their new app, which is a memory hog.

This app, combined with a account makes for a good way to find new music, friends, as well as just chart your own listening habbits. I would prefer that it took info from more sources but that sabout my only complaint.

iScrobbler will also monitor songs you play on your iPod. It's best to sync songs after you play them as not to confuse the site. For example, if you listen to a load of songs on your ipod, sync those before you listen to any on the host computer. has gotten pretty big sice the audioscrobbler days, and it perpetually has issues. Be patient with your charts if you're signing up for the first time.

You may have issues with the plugin as well. I get BADAUTH errors once a week or so, but they work themselves out. If you have a sustained problem, it's best to search the forums for help before asking a question.
