iScroll2 is a modified trackpad driver that adds two-finger scrolling capabilities to supported pre-2005 PowerBooks and iBooks on OS X 10.3 and up.

Supported models include most aluminum PowerBooks introduced from 2003 to 2004 as well as all G4 iBooks.

Does anyone else find .26 unusable? It scrolls far too fast regardless of settings.

Version .25e works reliably except for the odd time it starts scrolling hyper fast (after reboots and sleep/wake I suppose).

Tip: To see if your Mac is supported, put two fingers on the trackpad and move them around. If the mouse pointer goes crazy, or moves normally, you are not supported. If the mouse doesn't move, and nothing happens, iScroll will work for you. If it scrolls the page, then you either have it, or don't need it.

I have experienced the scroll speed issue Bruno mentioned and wonder if it isn't a memory leak issue. I have noticed that over time, the scroll speed slows down. After a reboot, things are speedy again.

A very useful application!

I think I would have lost my mind if I had not found this app. Using it on my iBook G4 for over a year. Love it.

Scroll speed can sometimes change from one boot to another for completely unknown reasons, but that's about as serious as the bugs get.

Two-finger scrolling and two-finger+click for right mouse button are an absolute requirement for me on my PowerBook. I like using the Mac trackpad with its one button (and iScroll) better than a standard two-button trackpad on any other notebook.
